Current coating technology

After a car is coated, it generally gains superior water-repellent properties, effectively preventing dirt, dust, and acid rain. Even if dirt adheres to the surface later, it can be easily rinsed off with water, preventing water damage and maintaining a long-lasting shine. However, older coating technologies required application in a cleanroom environment. Because the coating dried slowly and easily adhered to dust, affecting the final quality, it took 8 to 10 hours to fully dry before driving. Despite these numerous benefits, these drawbacks deterred many car owners.

Today, technological advancements have overcome the limitations of construction environment and time. Modern technology no longer requires cleanroom environments for construction, and construction time has been greatly reduced. Car owners no longer need to wait long and can receive the same or even better service experience as before.

Current coating technology

Technological advancements have led to faster drying times for modern coatings, which are less prone to dust adhesion and can be applied in any environment while achieving high-quality results. Furthermore, the use of short-wave infrared lamps and other equipment to accelerate the drying process allows for completion in as little as 3 hours.

Many people believe that car coating can be done DIY. However, the preparation work before coating is extensive, and the process requires many tools that most car owners do not have. Only experienced and professional car detailing shops can achieve a perfect coating.
